@lynn200 It was written by George Martin for BBC Radio One but it has been covered by a few bands over the years but most notably (if only in my opinion) by Van Der Graaf Generator. So the one thing I like by them wasn't actually written by them! It's not that I don't like their stuff - it just doesn't rattle my cage.
@jem @lynn200- likewise I thought I should like them and dipped into them a few times but never really made my list. However this toon does remind me of Tommy Vance on the Friday Rock Show on Radio 1 -70s/80s used this as a filler on the show. Great memories. whoever wrote it :)

@donuno I am glad I am not the only one. And yes. Tommy Vance. If not for him and his show it may have been years before I discovered The Enid.
