jherskowitz’s year started strong with “Ten Thousand Hours” by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. jherskowitz’s 2013 came to a close with “21 Gun Salute” by Half Moon Run.

jherskowitz’s first jam of 2012 was “Chapel Song” by We Are Augustines. 17 more jams followed it! The year’s recurring themes? british, folk, and alt rock. jherskowitz did some crate-digging too, and found “How Now” by The Jealous Girlfriends. “The Descent” by Bob Mould got a lot of love. jherskowitz was the first person on This Is My Jam to post “Wolf Like Me” by Anna Calvi — before 11 others! jherskowitz passed 20 jams in January. 2012 drew to a close with “Up Up Up” by GIVERS.

In October, jherskowitz joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Sleep Rules Everything Around Me” by Wugazi. Nice. There was a lot of alt-coutnry, folk, and indie pop. “Fountain And Fairfax” by The Afghan Whigs got a lot of love. In November, jherskowitz introduced This Is My Jam to “Tongue Tied” by Grouplove. jherskowitz’s 2011 came to a close with “Into the Wild” by LP.
