jo’s first jam of 2015 was “Kindred” by Burial, and 17 more jams followed. There was a lot of hip hop, rap, and electronic. “One Mo' Gin” by D'Angelo got a lot of love. jo crossed 200 jams in September! And it all came to an end with jo’s final jam: “Midnight In A Perfect World” by DJ Shadow.

“Prime-Time” by Janelle MonĂ¡e kicked off jo’s 2014, and there was more to come; 56 jams in all. The year’s recurring themes? underground hip hop, soul, and electronic. jo posted a rare gem: “lawd, how come me heah?” by oakland interfaith gospel choir (f/ sharon henderson). People really liked “Street Spirit” by Radiohead. jo’s 2014 came to a close with “Mic Checka (remix)” by Das EFX.

jo’s first jam of 2013 was “Changes” by Blackalicious. 56 more jams followed it! There was a lot of James Blake, underground hip hop, and soul. They were the first, and only, to post “2nd Childhood” by Nas. People really liked “Alone Again Or” by Love. jo passed 100 jams in July. jo’s 2013 came to a close with “Latyrx” by Latyrx.

jo’s 2012 started strong with “California Soul” by Marlena Shaw, and 67 more jams followed. Plenty of soul, underground hip hop, and hip hop. jo found a rare one: “Sing A Simple Song” by The Meters. “They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.)” by Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth got a lot of love. jo reached 50 jams in September. “Resistance” by Muse closed out the year.
