Gin House by Amen Corner

“I saw Amen Corner sing this live at The Stafford Art Centre in Tipping Street. It was an astounding gig. AFL was on his knees by the end of the song and I think everyone was agog by his brilliant interpretation of this Harry Burke (1928 & thought to be a pseudonym of the pianist James C Johnson) song. This is not to be confused with the Fletcher Henderson & Henry Troy (1926)song of the same title, oddly both recorded by Bessie Smith. This is despite the label wrongly crediting H & T with it. I hope you like it too #special
