Let It Snow Let It Snow Let It Snow by Vaughn Monroe

“Vaughn Wilton Monroe (October 7, 1911 – May 21, 1973) was an American baritone singer, trumpeter and big band leader and actor, most popular in the 1940s and 1950s. He has two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame; for recording and radio. "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!", is a song written by lyricist Sammy Cahn and composer Jule Styne in July 1945. It was written in Hollywood, California during one of the hottest days on record. First recorded in 1945 by Vaughn Monroe, it has been recorded by many other too, including Woody Hermann, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Doris Day, Bing Crosby, even Smokey Robinson. I much prefer the original. Clearly Bruce Willis does to as that is the version he used in the second 'Die Hard' film. I hope you like it. #ChistmasIsAComin'”

This is the best version because it's at the end of Die Hard.

is a song written by lyricist Sammy Cahn and composer Jule Styne in July 1945. It was written in Hollywood, California during a heat wave as Cahn and Styne imagined cooler conditions. "Let It Snow!" was first recorded by Vaughn Monroe with the Norton Sisters for RCA Victor in 1945. Monroe's version became a huge popular hit, topping the Billboard music chart for five weeks in January and February of 1946. Monroe later re-recorded the tune in stereo for his 1958 RCA Victor album There I Sing/Swing It Again, and once again for his 1962 Dot Records album His Greatest Hits. It was later recorded by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, Woody Hermann and even Ella Fitzgerald. Very popular song. #HopeYouLikeIt #MerryChristmasEveryone   6

"Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!", also known as "Let It Snow", is a song written by lyricist Sammy Cahn and composer Jule Styne in 1945. The song was written in July 1945 in Hollywood, California during one of the hottest days on record. First recorded by Vaughn Monroe, it became a popular hit, reaching number one on the Billboard music chart the following year. One of the best-selling songs of all time, "Let It Snow!" has been covered countless times by many artists. Due to its seasonal lyrics, it is commonly regarded as a Christmas song. However, despite the song's cheery, holiday feel, it is a love song that never mentions Christmas. (my own video)   3
