“Borge Rosenbaum (his real name) was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, into a Jewish family in 1909. His parents, Bernhard and Frederikke (Lichtinger) Rosenbaum, were both musicians—his father a violist in the Royal Danish Orchestra and his mother a pianist. He gave his first recital at the age of 8. He was a concert pianist, but luckily for us he preferred humour too. Hope you like it, yer gotta have a laugh ain't yer!”
