junglerock’s year started strong with “Bad Way To Go” by Bruthers. 50 more jams followed it! There was a lot of funk, 60s, and psychedelic. junglerock did some crate-digging too, and found “This Love Starved Heart Of Mine” by Marvin Gaye. junglerock crossed 200 jams in February! All things must end; junglerock closed it out with “One Nation Under A Groove” by Funkadelic.

2014

junglerock’s year started strong with “Chase” by Giorgio Moroder, and there was more to come; 63 jams in all. It was a year of post-punk, hip hop, and punk. junglerock found a rare one: “Outcry” by Cedric Im Brooks & The Light Of Saba. “No Other” by Gene Clark got a lot of love. “Big Apple Graveyard” by Epic Soundtracks closed out the year.

junglerock’s first jam of 2013 was “Crazy Horses” by The Osmonds, and there was more to come; 65 jams in all. Lots of funk, post-punk, and electronic. junglerock posted a rare gem: “Bulldog” by The Fireballs. People really liked “North By North” by The Bats. junglerock posted their 100th jam in July! junglerock’s 2013 came to a close with “Inca Vacation” by Zimbo Chimps.

In January, junglerock joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “O-o-h Child” by The Five Stairsteps. Nice. junglerock found their eternal jam in July — “This Boy is Exhausted” by The Wrens. The year’s recurring themes? post-punk, punk, and soul. junglerock did some crate-digging too, and found “Hellzapoppin'” by Slim Gaillard & Slam Stewart. “Space Guitar” by Johnny Guitar Watson got a lot of love. junglerock was first to pick “Please Don't Touch” by Motörhead & Girlschool, in February — 11 others followed suit! junglerock posted their 50th jam in October! 2012 drew to a close with “Lenny Valentino” by The Auteurs.
