i was weirdly disappointed when i found out that he actually lives pretty far out from minneapolis, not in the city anymore and as i recall too far out to even be considered the suburbs
also there are the reasons that are actually musical reasons, various turning points in his career that don't seem like they were changes for the better, but those are so well-known and frequently overstated that i sort of don't want to even go there
