@polly7923 ...yeah i would rather pay.....ive had stuff dome over there before, and was really impressed ,,,its all kinda relative..better care means you heal faster ,,means your back to work/earning faster.....im not a newbie at this , i fractured my spine a while back ,and have had a load of work down, i really believe that the NHS is the most civilized thing it is also tottaly disfunctional and slow to learn from its mistakes...
@polly7923 .....genuinely sorry to hear that polly.......re; asia i still have my job over there so i would do a job for them in say bkk,,then stay over to have any thing needed done,,there a hospital there on soi 1 called bhumrangrad that has an international reputation for excellence , i had some work done there on my back and legs , a while back,and it really is an eye opener ,when i asked the surgeon about c/diff,,and mrsi..he just laughed and said we dont have it here....i asked how come
@polly7923 ,,,hes blunt answer was ;'because we keep the place clean ,,and they did every 15 minutes a nice lady would wander round say hallo and swab the floor manually.this is a very hi tek hospital,,and the most expensive, there are plenty of others almost as good, to be a nurse over there is an honerable career , looking after people is considered time well spent, its a bit of a buddist thing as well,,of course at the other end there are some hell hole hospitals there, in general care v good
@kingofmen Glad to hear you survived the knife Troy! And you are right about hygiene and hospitals; I have doctor friends who can't believe how far standards have slipped in UK + N America
