Must have been a huge honor for Mark Knopfler to have the people he wrote the song for performing it.

R.I.P. Phil Everly (19 January 1939, Chicago IL - 3 January 2014, Burbank CA). So sad. This song from the Dire Straits' Brothers In Arms album always sounded tailor-made for the Everlys.
