lacmusic’s first jam of 2013 was “Kodachrome” by Paul Simon, and there was more to come; 33 jams in all. Lots of indie pop, folk, and singer-songwriters. They were the first, and only, to post “The Wrong Clue (from Chinatown)” by Jerry Goldsmith. lacmusic reached 50 jams in March. lacmusic’s 2013 came to a close with “The Wire” by HAIM.

2012

In May, lacmusic joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Amongst The Waves” by Pearl Jam. Nice. The year’s recurring themes? Bruce Springsteen, indie rock, and 80s. “Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand” by The Beatles got a lot of love. In August, lacmusic posted their 20th jam. lacmusic’s 2012 came to a close with “Hymn #76” by Joe Pug.
