2015

The year got going with “Mr Noah” by Panda Bear, and there was more to come; 16 jams in all. There was a lot of lo-fi, indie rock, and psychedelic. lakey found a rare one: “I Hear a New World” by Joe Meek. People really liked “The Mercy Seat” by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. In March, lakey posted their 200th jam. lakey’s final jam was “My Kind of Woman” by Mac DeMarco.

2014

“You Little Shits” by Stereolab kicked off lakey’s 2014. 57 more jams followed it! Lots of electronic, singer-songwriters, and lo-fi. lakey did some crate-digging too, and found “Utopia” by Giorgio Moroder. People really liked “I Heard It Through The Grapevine” by The Slits. 2014 drew to a close with “Mirror Monster” by Deerhoof.

2013

lakey’s first jam of 2013 was “Slave To The Rhythm” by Grace Jones, and the jams kept coming; 69 in total. Lots of My Bloody Valentine, new wave, and lo-fi. They were the first, and only, to post “Made All Up” by Cardiacs. “Venus” by Television got a lot of love. lakey reached 100 jams in May. 2013 drew to a close with “I Am Waiting” by The Rolling Stones.

2012

In January, lakey joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Sister Midnight” by Iggy Pop. Nice. In February, lakey found it, their eternal jam: “Refractions In The Plastic Pulse” by Stereolab. Plenty of Iggy Pop, psychedelic, and lo-fi. lakey posted a rare gem: “Twist Ah Luck” by Captain Beefheart. People really liked “Just What I Needed” by The Cars. lakey was first to pick “Honey Power” by My Bloody Valentine, in February — 25 others followed suit! lakey reached 50 jams in September. 2012 drew to a close with “Goodbye Toulouse” by The Stranglers.
