lastyearsgirl_’s 2015 started strong with “The Wrong Year” by The Decemberists. lastyearsgirl_ found their eternal jam in January — “I Had A Good Time Tonight” by Franz Nicolay. Plenty of alt-coutnry, folk, and indie rock. They were the first, and only, to post “You Got This” by PILLARS. “The Scene Between” by The Go! Team got a lot of love. lastyearsgirl_ was first to pick “Before The World Was Big” by Girlpool, in April — 17 others followed suit! lastyearsgirl_ reached 100 jams in January. lastyearsgirl_ marked the end with “When You Need A Train It Never Comes - Amanda Shires - Carrying Lightning” by Amanda Shires.

2014

lastyearsgirl_’s first jam of 2014 was “American Horror” by Speedy Ortiz, and there was more to come; 28 jams in all. Lots of Sleater-Kinney, indie rock, and indie pop. People really liked “Best Sunday Dress” by Hole. In April, lastyearsgirl_ introduced This Is My Jam to “Every Time the Sun Comes Up” by Sharon van Etten. lastyearsgirl_ passed 75 jams in March. “One More Hour” by Sleater-Kinney closed out the year.

2013

The year got going with “Glitch” by The History of Apple Pie, and the jams kept coming; 39 in total. It was a year of indie pop, folk, and indie rock. lastyearsgirl_ did some crate-digging too, and found “Save My Love” by Bruce Springsteen. People really liked “Cover Me Up” by Jason Isbell. In June, lastyearsgirl_ introduced This Is My Jam to “Elephant” by Jason Isbell. lastyearsgirl_ reached 50 jams in June. “Follow Your Arrow” by Kacey Musgraves closed out the year.

lastyearsgirl_’s 2012 started strong with “Here It Never Snowed. Afterwards, It Did” by The Twilight Sad, and there was more to come; 27 jams in all. Lots of Scottish music, folk, and singer-songwriters. lastyearsgirl_ posted a rare gem: “Lisa's Birthday” by Drive-By Truckers. People really liked “Low Winter Sun” by Kid Canaveral. lastyearsgirl_ was the first person on This Is My Jam to post “Hang With Me” by Robyn — before 65 others! lastyearsgirl_ crossed 20 jams in June! “Continuous Thunder” by Japandroids closed out the year.
