@lindatee I had a deal with mine when we moved in together: he stopped being a tart and I stopped drinking so much 'fine wine'. It is working so far ( as far as I know lol).
@fsohail Certainly not!! Red is best, white is passable if it is nice and crisp and dry. Rose is a no no as is anything under 11% lol but that is just me :) x p.s Rioja is my favourite, the older and stronger the better!
@abigail.deeks I meant to add as long as it's red! Rioja is a fave, had some decent 2006/7 recently and also a few good St Emilion. On occasion I've been known to sample rosé as long as it's dry (and some of those hit 13%+) and lastly white…I'd probably switch to ales or cider instead ;D
@fsohail See you are fussy after all. My Mum often choses St Emilion and yes (re white) love a good cold pint of cider of even a spicy warm one! I think I have an irrational aversion to rosé it just doesn't seem right ;)
@abigail.deeks fussy me? Well, if I have a choice ;D
I was the same with rosé for years (I mean what's the point, it's like red but not as good…now I think of it as white only better!) Cold glass of the stuff on a hot day in the garden…works for me.
@lindatee Yes...terrible...a powerful rich person in their speed boat...enough money and you're above the law...saved her son...and died in the process...hero
