@lindatee Hope things work out good for your daughter, Linda. Mine ( Kate ) has just come back to live with us after graduating in fine Art but has to put up with working in retail at the moment.....tuff world out there for young'uns...
@decarter Same here - Frankie has just graduated from uni in Cardiff - she took drama - and was intending to stay in Wales but got an opportunity to work in theatre marketing in the West End. Moved backed yesterday. It's a huge upheaval! Good luck to Kate too.
@decarter I always encouraged my kids to do what they were passionate about - so their subjects are in a difficult field to get into (my son is doing broadcast journalism) . Frankie wants to act - but it's nearly impossoble to get an audition even . What does Kate want to do? I guess there's graphics, illustration or freelance work?? I really do hope they find something that makes them happy. . . and Kate Carter is a cool name too!
