Cool bass playing, funky drums and they use Orange amps ..... you are a gold mine for new metal/rock that IO don't know I don't know. I might try some more Northline with headphones.
This is good. I'm not familiar with these guys, so I looked into them a bit. Is this the first track released with the new vocalist? I checked out a couple tracks on 'Singularity' and the vocals were similar, but not as clean I think. Not glaringly different enough to tell for sure it's a different vocalist on first listen. Their older stuff is more screaming and less singing though, which is a clear difference. Anyway, I really like this. Thanks for the intro.
Too easy mate! For me the vocal harmonies are incredible and make the band really lift. As scary as it is @shiningsun2k it the old singers screams that I don't like. The only way I can really describe it is comparing the two bands The Haunted and At the Gates, pretty much the same band with different vocalists I love the Haunted but really struggle with At the Gates vocalist as he is too Cookie Monster The Haunted and Northlane have in my mind far more guttural deep screams.
At the Gates track At War with Reality is musically awesome his vocals are dreadful!!! Thoughts @bassscape For me vocalists like Phil Ansemo don't need any Cookie Monster as his voices destroys all before it!!!
By the way, per a couple friends' requests, I finally opened a page just for hard rock & metal in case you're interested: @ssrock. This will remain my anything goes page.
