Easily one of my all time favorite bands. Only saw them live once, back in '07, but it was an incredible show. I have every album to date and their last is the only one I don't love, but then I only listened to it a couple of times and their new stuff is sounding much better than I remember that sounding. Can't wait for the new album.

I saw Soundgarden the same year and am still pissed off they didn't play Jesus Christ Pose.
YES! They played every song I wanted to hear as well, including a couple I hoped they'd play, but doubted they would. They even ended on the song I was feeling the most at the time, "Aqueous Transmissions", which I figure is probably normal, but whatever. I saw Soundgarden in July and they Jesus Christ Pose was the highlight for me. They nailed it. That sucks that they didn't play it when you saw them. : /
@shiningsun2k I have a ticket to Soundwave this weekend and both Incubus and SOudgarden are playing along with Faith no More Slash and Slipknot so it should be a huge weekend
holy shit! Now I'm incredibly envious. That's like a dream lineup. I've seen all but Faith No More in the last few years and they all kicked ass, and I'd LOVE to see Faith No More. You need to tell me about the show afterwards when you get a chance.
@bassscape There's only two types of music as far as I'm concerned: music I like and music I don't like. I would say my pop quota has increased but maybe it's more like my heavy quota has decreased......
@mattb07@bassscape my musical tastes appear to be becoming more extreme the older I get far greater quotas of silkly smooth pop and far greater quotas of metal. The common entity is they both need to ride a a cleverly written monster groove!!!
