I used to listen to radio Caroline and Luxemburg when I was a kid and on one of those stations the DJ would play Percy Sledge singing "Warm and Tender Love" ever night at 9 or 10 o'clock or something. I used to look forward to hearing it on my transistor radio laying in bed on school nights.
Maybe Ive got that completely wrong! Does anybody else remember it?

@Sid_Bonkers I'm fairly sure that DJ who signed off with "Warm and Tender Love", was Johnnie Walker on Radio Caroline Sid. Sadly, I didn't get to hear "the pirates" as we lived in Derbyshire, just about as far from the coast as you can get in the UK!!! But I'm a big fan of JW and I'm sure I've heard him talk about that and I know it's still one of his fav records.

@mikelowe Cheers Mike, Johnny Walker of course....used to love his show on Caroline and living as we did in Kent it was usually a good signal too.
