markmez’s year started strong with “Skip Steps 1 & 3. ” by Superchunk. markmez found their eternal jam in June — “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” by Sufjan Stevens. The year’s recurring themes? folk, electronic, and instrumental. People really liked “Carry the Zero” by Built to Spill. “Take Five” by Dave Brubeck closed out the year.
