When I saw this was on "High Hopes", I thought it was just a re-hash of an old song, but... what a re-hash! Springsteen doesn't just give it a new lease of life, he re-creates it. Marvellous.   8

Now Tom said "Mom, wherever there's a cop beatin' a guy Wherever a hungry newborn baby cries Where there's a fight 'gainst the blood and hatred in the air Look for me Ma I'll be there Wherever there's somebody fightin' for a place to stand Or decent job or a helpin' hand Wherever somebody's strugglin' to be free Look in their eyes Mom you'll see me."

It's subtle, but if you listen carefully you might pick up on Tom Morello's influence on this new version...   4

Fantastic, from 6:49 onwards a lesson of guitar soloing, only guitar player that reminds me of Hendrix
