The tale goes Edmunds recorded this one primarily as a calling card to send to (and hopefully impress) all the London recording studios, when he was a young pup new to The Smoke looking for sessions.
@ian38018 I hadn't heard that tale Ian. I know (and I do actually remember hearing it!!) about them playing this on Peel's show and him playing it again a second time later on!! I think within a year or so of this Edmund's went on to a successful solo career, so it must have done the trick!!
This one you dance more with your mind, while the body simply sways to it!!! A-ha!!!! (though the Carnival people, at the Northeast here would strongly disagree with me - they DO dance to something kinda similar...)
We used to have this on 7 inch until my dad dropped it down the back of our sideboard and knocked abig chunk out of the beginning. Since bought it again on aDave Edmunds greatest hits album. Love it.
@mikelowe Hahaha! I'm not sure about that... If you dance like Snoopy -at that speed-, well.. you keep up with me for more than 6 minutes, believe me!!! ;-) xx

Excellent choice! But it's far to early in the day for me to start dancing around the room :-)
