@andybartlett Very true what you say Andy. Must say, I only got to hear it properly about 6 months ago, (then bought it!) and it's quickly become a fav album.
I bought this about 10 - 12 years ago after reading an article entitled "Lost classic albums - Disappeared without trace"....It seemed too interesting to ignore & I've never regretted buying it.
@DealingKnees I'm just wondering how old an album has to be, before getting the unique selling point of "lost classic"? Very glad you enjoyed it anyway Dylan, thanks for coming around :-)
A brilliant album one of my all-time favourites. Cost a fortune to make, Asylum weren't best pleased with a 8 song return and poor old Gene never got another chance really. A tragic genius.
@marissapicone Ha! Your idea of both being lost classics made me LOL :-) Given it's a "certified" lost classic - maybe no surprise you haven't heard of it!!? I was only vaguely aware of it, until about 6 months ago when I heard it in its entirety. Whole album + bonus tracks here:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x901yPr6pP8

patience rewarded.....jam.

Always liked this one - took unfair stick purely because it wasn't the Byrds - often happens when 'favourite' bands split.

Thanks @leslieplatt59 You sum-up Gene's story very well Leslie. Very sad life which ended too soon, but he left us some great music.
