It was one of the first concerts I went to, in Birmingham. Hard to better! I saw Otis but it was Carla Thomas's night off so we had Sharon Tandy. Her rendition of Hold On with Booker T & the MG's, including a scorching Steve Cropper guitar solo, will never fade in my memory! Astonishing.
