@mondosalvo .38 Special was pretty good live as I recall. Saw them more than once. My first concert was almost The Beatles. Mom and dad couldn't find a babysitter until the last moment! Unfair man! I was but a wee lad, but still could have said I saw the Beatles!
@capnhollis The story you have is probably better, because if you'd gone then people would ask you "how was it?" and you'd have no good answer because you were tiny with bad memory.
@mondosalvo Oddly I seem to have good memories from my youth, although I doubt this would have been one of them. As a consolation my 2nd concert was Led Zeppelin! 1st concert was Three Dog Night, 3rd concert Pink Floyd all in the 70s.

A fave 80s band. Saw their first tour through the USA opening for Billy Idol. Great jam!

@capnhollis They were my second concert ever (on the Sonic Temple tour, 1989). My first was .38 Special a few years earlier. #holdonloosely
