@mrbootle Went both days and the Sunday was particularly good. Highlights other than Ex Hex were Owen Pallett, Gaz Coombes, Matthew E White, Viet Cong, Baxter Dury and of course Ride. Been the last few years and it's always a good festival. Sure I'll be going back again next year.
@AndyWilkinson ugh… gig envy! :) I have tix to see Viet Cong in August which I am looking forward to. I particularly wanted to see FKA Twigs, Caribou and Patti Smith but would have been happy seeing Ride too. Will be making a concerted effort to get there next year!
@mrbootle I saw a bit of FKA Twigs and she was pretty good, but clashed with Caribou who I really wanted to see. I'd seen them a couple of times before and they were excellent. On Saturday I got really frustrated because wherever I stood I was surrounded by people who insited on just talking all the way through it. I got really frustrated and left early. I saw a bit of Patti Smith and she was really good, but I really wanted to see Baxter Dury in one of the tents as he is great live.
