The Rezillos original line-up released their first single "Can't Stand My Baby" in Aug 1977 on the indie record label, Sensible Records. I saw them live around '79 at the Jack Kane Sports Centre in Niddrie. They had to suffer a hail of bottles and cans initially but won the local neds over half-way through their second number with the Fleetwood Mac cover "Somebody's Gonna Get Their Head Kicked In Tonight"! Line-up for this single was: Eugene Reynolds (real name:Alan Forbes), vocals; Fay Fife (born Sheilagh Hynd), vocals; Jo Callis, guitar; William Mysterious (born Alastair Donaldson), saxophone; Angel Paterson (born Alasdair Paterson), drums; Hi-Fi Harris, guitar; Dr D.K. Smythe. bass guitar, and Gale Warning (Gail Jamieson), backing vocals.   12
