Neat toon! Takes me well back to stuff like 'Long shot kick de bucket' and there were some early reggae tracks about that time that were well rude for the time! Unfortunately my memory's not what it used to be, but there was one that featured the lyric 'push it up push it up' but I've U-tubed that and can't find the one I'm trying to remember sadly. Anyway, great Jam. :)

Thanks for that comment @Phyl. I'm glad you liked it :) On the subject of rude reggae tracks I found this page which compiles some of them : http://forthesuits.wordpress.com/2013/06/09/our-favorites-rude-reggae/

@iancooling1 No worries! Happy listening :) And yes, Prince Buster is a favourite of mine too. Will never get tired of this ska documentary from 1964 : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98gbH-gpzI4 amazing piece of footage.

@music_xplosion. Thank you! The interweb is a marvelous thing, and TimJ even more so! The track I was thinking of was 'Wreck a buddy' which is on that great link you posted, along with other great tracks. However, I have a feeling that I heard a different version, still with girl singer(s), possibly the same band. I wonder if they did a different version or is it just my memory playing up? Either way, it's got b****r all to do with Max Romeo's great rude song. :)
