Before I talk, I should read a book. But there's one thing I do know: There's a lot of ruins in Mesopotamia.
I literally just stumbled upon a live concert version of this song, and it captivated me with its strange vibe and ethereal harmonies. Bizarre and yet pleasant.
America's ignorance about the middle east sounded so harmless and cute 30 years ago. #FridayDiscoBackup
When this album came out, the B's were showing up on soap operas & working with David Byrne. I was in heaven.
