newdawnfades’s year started strong with “Old Shit/New Shit” by Eels, and 15 more jams followed. There was a lot of singer-songwriters, indie rock, and emo. People really liked “At The Bottom” by Brand New. “Anthonio (Berlin Breakdown Version)” by Annie closed out the year.

2013

newdawnfades’s first jam of 2013 was “Jet Black New Year” by Thursday, and the jams kept coming; 42 in total. Plenty of metal, alt rock, and indie rock. newdawnfades posted a rare gem: “Everything Dies/Lung” by Type O Negative. “Beyond Belief” by Elvis Costello and the Attractions got a lot of love. In May, newdawnfades posted their 100th jam. 2013 drew to a close with “Put Your Love In Me” by Tindersticks.

2012

newdawnfades’s first jam of 2012 was “Superpowers” by The Dismemberment Plan. In September, newdawnfades found it, their eternal jam: “Ostia (The Death of Pasolini)” by Coil. There was a lot of pop, post-punk, and indie rock. newdawnfades found a rare one: “We All Faulter” by Jesu. People really liked “I Was a Teenage Werewolf” by The Cramps. newdawnfades was the first person on This Is My Jam to post “Love Song” by The Damned — before 31 others! newdawnfades crossed 75 jams in October! “Thinking of You” by Ke$ha closed out the year.

In December, newdawnfades joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Stargasm” by Mastodon. Nice. It was a year of synthpop, 80s, and new wave. newdawnfades was first to pick “Emergency Room” by Ford & Lopatin, in December — 16 others followed suit! newdawnfades’s 2011 came to a close with “Jet Black New Year” by Thursday.
