“I first chose this because I love this cover of the Boo Hewerdine song about infidelity "Joke" and then I saw this rather grungy video of Eddi Reader and saw something else...for people who think that women can't multi task, this is what I think happens in this film...(go with me here)...the keyboard player starts off at the wrong tempo...it's too pedestrian...Eddi is the first to realise...and tries to show the right tempo...from here on in she is doing two things - one doing justice to the song...two trying to get the tempo right...I'll play a version by Boo later so you'll see what I mean, but that's not weird dancing you're seeing, that's a woman singing a song and trying to steer the bus at the same time..enjoy the amazing Eddi Reader!”

Saw songwriter Boo Hewerdine perform this at Standon Calling yesterday. Fantastic, but add Eddi Reader singing and it's truly goregeous.
