I've been thinking about this band for the bulk of this year, wondering if I even actually liked them. They didn't come to my attention until quite late (sort of) and I haven't revisited their work in ages. Listening to this track I can't imagine why I don't think I like them? This is an astonishing piece of work. I never ever realized that Andy Partridge is sort of the new version of Brian Wilson. Here's hoping he finds something that will draw him back to writing music like this again.
@AheadByEcho The Brian WIlson comparison is apt and quite interesting to ponder. I don't go back to XTC much at all, but when I hear them it's easy to get right back in the swing of loving them.

@andypritchard Glad you dig! It's been a while since I've enjoyed this album's pleasures. Always good to revisit.
