@21schizoid Sage words, Pepe, and none of us could have foreseen the Great American Songbook. It's quite okay in my view to draw an imaginary line in an artist's career and pretend they just stopped there. Rod's is in 1973. Paul McCartney's (ahem, controversy...) is a year or two before that.
I'm not gonna' argue there, sport! However, I'll give Macca a few more Wings years, 'cos I did enjoy some of that stuff. I can totally see why others will be more critical though, given his body of Fabs work. Either way, the pair of them needed laryngitis, long ago...
