The year got going with “Chess” by Petite Noir. 13 more jams followed it! Lots of new wave, punk, and electronic. party_cakes did some crate-digging too, and found “Waiting For Another Moon” by Jack Name. People really liked “Wicked Game” by Chris Isaak. party_cakes’s final jam was “Paul” by Girl Band.

party_cakes’s first jam of 2014 was “I've Seen Footage” by Death Grips, and there was more to come; 15 jams in all. The year’s recurring themes? lo-fi, indie rock, and electronic. They were the first, and only, to post “RougeCorpse” by Crimson Scarlet. “Warm Leatherette” by The Normal got a lot of love. party_cakes passed 20 jams in December. 2014 drew to a close with “She Looks Like You” by Sean Nicholas Savage.

In April, party_cakes joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “I'm Going Down (Bruce Springsteen cover)” by Vampire Weekend. Nice. “Nightcall” by Kavinsky closed out the year.
