









pcalves’s year started strong with “Angel Blood” by Cass McCombs. 31 more jams followed it! Plenty of singer-songwriters, psychedelic, and indie rock. They were the first, and only, to post “If” by Islands. People really liked “Silver” by Caribou. pcalves marked the end with “We'll Meet Again” by Vera Lynn.

pcalves’s first jam of 2014 was “Mon Nom” by Rodrigo Amarante, and the jams kept coming; 55 in total. It was a year of electronic, psychedelic, and indie rock. They were the first, and only, to post “Blue Milk” by Stereolab. “Riders On The Storm” by The Doors got a lot of love. In August, pcalves posted their 200th jam. “Dónde Está la Playa” by The Walkmen closed out the year.

pcalves’s first jam of 2013 was “Cherry” by Chromatics. pcalves found their eternal jam in September — “Waterloo Sunset” by The Kinks. There was a lot of Anamanaguchi, psychedelic, and lo-fi. pcalves posted a rare gem: “The Doors” by The J. Arthur Keenes Band. In August, pcalves introduced This Is My Jam to “PRISMS” by 65daysofstatic. pcalves passed 100 jams in April. 2013 drew to a close with “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” by The Crystals.

In January, pcalves joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “The Floor” by Ty Segall. Nice. The year’s recurring themes? I Come to Shanghai, post-punk, and shoegaze. People really liked “Vicious” by Lou Reed. pcalves was the first person on This Is My Jam to post “Cheree” by Suicide — before 33 others! In September, pcalves posted their 50th jam. 2012 drew to a close with “Neighborhood Watch” by Memory Tapes.
