Today in 1957, Elvis hit #1 with "All Shook Up," the bestselling single of that year! It's still one of his best - give a listen!
Hard to explain to younger listeners the excitement this caused when I first heard this in the late 1950's. At that time all you seemed to get on the radio was the BBC Light Orchestra. I was hooked on music from that first hearing.
