Not entirely sure, but I think the vocal is Hank Marvin. This was the CSN/Hollies-inspired group they formed with Australian songwriter John Farrar, who used to go out with Bruce Welch and went on to write several of Olivia Newton-John's biggest hits in the late 70s/early 80s.
