...lol! When i was six or so, my father took me to see 'Dr Who: The Stage Production'. All i remember is the first five minutes, there were monsters all over the stage, and just when it looked like they were about to kill us all, Tom Baker comes running down the aisle, so close i could smell him, i tell you, i don't think i'd ever been so frightened in my life.
My father turned to me and noticed i was as white as a sheet, and my eyes were very wide indeed. We left immediately. To this day...
...i've no idea if there was any singing in it, let alone Darlek Opera, but until i die, i'll never forget that first five minutes. God knows how many other gibbering children had to be hauled out of the theater that year, i dread to think...
@ZenPyramid Well I never knew there was a stage production of Dr Who! I can imagine how frightening it would have been for a youngster to witness all those monsters 'in the flesh'.....Maybe one day you'll be fully over the experience......how about visiting a 'Dr Who Early-Trauma' counsellor...I'm sure there's one around somewhere
@ZenPyramid@philipnareike I can't get over the image of this playing at a Dalek Disco. Dr. Who: The Musical would be great. We'll have to think up some suitable Jams Doctorin' The Tardis would have to be included.
@LadyGulagYes, 'Exterminator' by Primal Scream for a fast dance (sorry, slide) and this would definately be played at the end of the night, the slow song with lots of metal on metal action! ....i'm sorry I brought that up....that's just too much!
