The name was touted by Malcolm McLaren as a possible name for Bow Wow Wow originally, and their song Mile High Club features lyrics mentioning "sex gang children". He lifted it from a William Burroughs novel apparently. Then Boy George considered it as a name for Culture Club but passed, so Andi Sex Gang took it.
I wish we still had that video! For those interested, Phil is referring to our time at art college when one of our friends made big masks and made a film of Phil and a couple of others wearing the masks and doing a sort of pagan dance to this track.

Mum's had tea with the Queen at Buck Palace....not seen her since then...think she may still be lost somewhere in there..
@kingofmen I left the country as a teenager but still keep my goat mask and only go back every full moon....just to join in with the community sacrifices and sacrificial burnings.....just for old time's sake .....
