Those a really interesting sculptures - very unexpected! Happy you liked the Vertigo review, Vertigo it's one of my top 5 Hitchcock movies. North by Northwest as well!
@BladeRunner I just stumbled across her work when I saw the dog headed person...I like the elephant with wings...Another Heaven! Yes,... there's so much more to see in Hitchcock's film. I shall have to re-watch them...not seen them in such a long time
@philipnareike the elephant with wings caught my eye as well, all the work, really sensible! About Hitchcock... well, i'm always watching something - seems like there's always a different and new angle. I did a radio piece on North by... when I was graduating in journalism school, exploring how much irony he used on it (a laugh a lot with that film).
@BladeRunner I think that film has it's funny moments too. I just thought of Rear Window too...that has to be one of my favourites as well. There's a theatrical adaptation of Strangers on a Train on in London at the moment http://youtu.be/5bfXSmG0UV0 the ad....
@philipnareike Perfect ad! Turns out, Strangers on a Train is the cautionary tale about not talking to strangers huh?! you never know what have you bumped into kkk! (i was just chatting about this with a friend, so it was a funny coincidence). About RearWindow, I've jammed something you might like (think we didn't knew each other back then - it was my jamversary - same day as Hitchcock's birthday). it's a timelapse only with footage of what J.Stewart saw from his window...
@BladeRunner That's great..I really liked that...that's another film I'll have to watch again! The voyeur's delight having an apartment looking out into all those lives...it's a fascinating film indeed

@philipnareike it was done by a luxembourguish film maker and it's very nice and interesting, and the song fits perfectly... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vHRw9XiFMI
