I know absolutely nothing about South African Combo; they're not even African, I think they're actually from Italy. I think they only made a couple of 45s in the early 70s. This record is very rare and worth a few quid.
@philipnareike not sure. I stumbled across the Italian gem as I follow Finders Keepers Records on Soundcloud and couldn't resist the track based on the film title alone!

@philipnareike now that I like though it doesn't really bear much resemblance to Reverberi's stuff. I'm thinking some sort of licensing problems? Very strange...

Surely not...it's unthinkable...oh the unimaginable horror....like something from HP Lovecraft's Cthulu Mythos.....tell me it's not true...please........(but great for the novel we're working on)
@philipnareike hahaha.. well, what happened was that yesterday we decided to celebrate Fridas birthday. It all started out real nice, we listened to Neil Diamond, danced, had cake... life was good. But, well, then came the presents (I bought her new slippers and a little red dress) but it was Björns present that started everything. He had bought her "Superchem 150" (http://www.captoy.se/leksaker/kemi-472/kemi-set-med-150-experiment-1163/) - 150 kitchen activeties in kitchen chemistry...
We all thought that this would be great fun and decided to try to make perfume. Serge smells a bit.... and he was very eager to help. I prpbably should have known better though and never let him out of the cage.... but he really wanted to help.. and I bought it. but ofcourse he had a mischievous plan.. I suspect Serge has been feeling pretty lonely down there. Being the only corpse. In the superchem 150 he saw his chance.. fill the perfume with pheromones - attract somebody...
@Avante I knew it!!! Damn that Superchem 150. Now we have a horde of rampaging Gaellic monstrosities hell-bent on world-domination! ..... Oh well....these things happen......C'est la vie!
haha.. yes. I was a bout to continue on the story (but got caught up in my real life.. :)) And I see you got the point I was comming to, that their on their way, the whole gang.. Cause in the end... Serge failed with the concoction and managed to attract all the other rats. and they fiested on the soap bubble solution, which turned them into monster rats. The gang had to flee. and since you're the only other person they know, they're now on their way to GB. Congratulations. ;)
@philipnareike I meant standing room only for the rats, but would not be averse to making millions. Ratkings. they're alwats creepy - just think of a ratking composed of @Avante's mega rats, all red eyed with perfume chemicals...

@kingofmen @philipnareike Bloody hell...!!! I just hade to check out the basement. It's not benny. Benny's still there.. (learning how to play the ukulele btw). But o boy... that rat is big!!
