I just discovered that Dusty attended St Annes Convent School in Northfields, Ealing. I know the area very well as I used to live around there...she also worked in Bentalls Dept. Store in Ealing Broadway http://www.simonbell.com/Ealing.html ..I was there just last week....in it's place now there's a McDonalds and TK Maxx ......that's progress.....

The site of St Annes Convent School is just around the corner from this famous building: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_pLg9VIDpuQk/Sju8MkzmZtI/AAAAAAAAAKU/i8K-awDPXms/s1600-h/central-london-group-grill-bar ... I'm sure Dusty must've eaten breakfast in this establishment when she was little....I'm positive of that....... anyone wanna sign up for my Special Dusty History Tour?

@philipnareike @Avante Oh I'm in for the Dusty tour too - I was at college in Ealing - I think it;s a uni now. Haven't been back for years. I'd love a group photo outside the Central London Group Grill Bar. The Ripper tour is much more round my neck of th woods now. Do we all have to dress like @jackietheripper ?

6 years, 2 months ago

philipnareike

@lindatee Oh, you know Ealing....the College is down towards South Ealing, not far from the old Ealing Studios......I've developed a fascination with this Central London Group Grill Bar...a friend of mine with a Fish and Chip shop along the same road told me the old Italian couple still live there....50 years after it shut down!

philipnareike

@BeeBee Tasty liver treats on the way! (I'm not sure where they came from though)

6 years, 2 months ago

philipnareike

@Avante Well, we definately need a few 'Ripper Victims'......think wench in a blood stained Victorian style dress....that should do the job! You don't have to ....a female Ripper could be good too ...

philipnareike

@pez Dusty's 60's output was so fabulous ....so many incredible tracks...

6 years, 2 months ago

BladeRunner

@philipnareike @jackietheripper what's a Ripper Costume?!

6 years, 2 months ago

philipnareike

@BladeRunner Just something that Jack the Ripper would wear....maybe a black cloak, top hat and carrying a big carving knife.....

6 years, 2 months ago

BladeRunner

@philipnareike I might have a song for it... and I'll wear a top hat!
