@philipnareike@MadameZia I've been pondering this theme - one of the nice things about this place is that people are fairly respectful of each other's choices - we don't generally post negative comments. So to have a theme where we are saying the tracks are "bad" seems a bit wrong really.
@MadameZia@philipnareike That said, a week of dodgy cover versions of classic tracks is very appealing but I think we have to make it clear it's meant to be fun and not taken seriously. This whole idea came from me playing Phil Sam Fox's version of (I can't Get No) Satisfaction and we were enjoying it's awfulness. Maybe we should just call it "underthecovers" and leave it to people to decide if they think they are bad.
@debutch Well I introduced him to this lot back in the early 90's. This was a big hit across Europe and particularly in Russia (and was No. 1 in Israel) in 1993.
@MadameZia@philipnareike However Alexander Bard (the little guy) is one of Swedens most succesfull songwriters. He started out in the 80's and was part of Norell Oson Bard, kind of like the swedish SAW. He is also a philosopher, TV personality and religious and political activist.
