I recently read this book http://www.amazon.co.uk/Until-Final-Hour-Hitlers-Secretary-ebook/dp/B00A3BO9P8/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1424517983&sr=1-2&keywords=traudl+junge and one of the little details in the book that wasn't in the film is that Hitler was really self consciousness about the whiteness of and unathlectic and unappealing sight of his legs and knees, so he nearly alwys wore long trousers. Traudl Junge did see them once and confessed they were indeed not pleasing on the eye!
