OMG! Someone wrote a song about a Dacia car! This freaking cracks me up. I've never known anyone who drove one, but I often get photos from friends who see them on the road when they visit Europe--one person even brought me a brochure from a Dacia dealership once. It doesn't look like a speedy car, does it?

@dacia I know Dacia cars are Romanian, and I believe Dacia was a part of Ancient Romania. Are your ancestors descended from Romania? Or did your parents just like the name. But Dacia is a great and unusual name to have! :)
I know there's a Dacia Dealership in Slough, Berkshire. That's the town where the original 'The Office' comedy series was set...maybe it was next door to Brent Paperworks, or whatever it was called :)
@philipnareike My name has a far more interesting cultural history than I do! My ancestors are actually German & Czech. My mother just read the name in a book when she was pregnant and liked it. Her name is Jennie and she always hated being one in a sea of Jennies, so she wanted to give her kids more unusual names. It worked in that I've never met another Dacia face to face!
I think I'm going to add "visit a Dacia dealership and go for a test drive" to my bucket list.

@dacia Slough's just a couple miles from Windsor, so you could visit the Queen at Windsor Castle in that Dacia too!
