Not sure if Philip's being serious.....but 99.9% certain it isn't The Beatles!!!! But it's a good "What If".
Unlikely that John & Paul went surfing (especially down the Mersey!!!) The timing probably doesn't work!! J (aged 17) & P (aged 15) met in '57, John had already left school by then. Surfing didn't really....ahem hit the UK shores until early 60's, by which time The Fabs were already touring to Hamburg, etc.
Continued:- If anyone had tried surfing down the Mersey at that time they would probably have got impaled on old bicycle frames or other rubbish that had been dumped in there!! Not so now - a nice clean river with lots of wind-surfing where the river meets the sea, but NO surfing as there's no real surf!!!

@Beatlemaniacs This is not the Beatles. George has a song called "Don´t bother me" but that´s about as close as this is to the Beatles. I will go lie down also ...

.....everyone's coming up with great "what if" ideas since I ended the series.....@paulgdaly s' one about 1920s' bluesman playing Scandinavian psychobilly surf music was brilliant ( even my imagination couldn't go that far!! ;-) )
