@pcjc Well, during the Falklands bash, the Beeb lost market share but the commercial stations just kept on spinning on. The BFBS however were even more controlling than the Beeb.

Thanks for the links. 'Shipbuilding' performed by Robert Wyatt and written by Elvis Costello also had an impact during The Falklands conflict.
