In spite of the obvious influences, for me, it stands up for itself. If we are going to get sniffy about theft/original ideas then we'll end up talking about post modernism whilst stroking our metaphysical beards and asking if originality is dead. :0)
@plinythemidlkid The video was directed by Roger Ballen, who's been a photographer photographing in South Africa since the 1970's. His work is incredible, and worth seeing. A big influence on Die Antwoord. Check out his web site. Rogerballen.com

@jonnyneale5 @kyllejenny Totes, on all counts. The only Prodigy I'm still playing (but playing a lot in the car right now and LOVING) is Full Throttle http://youtu.be/ZA21C6eYl5U . I bought the Prodg albums up to but not including Fat of the Land; did I miss anything?

@djclashpresley Little about the cultural self-expression of the working class in western societies via rave and rap and its South African manifestation here in Die Antwoord. Has certainly prompted me to buy the t-shirt though ;-) @jonnyneale5
@plinythemidlkid Did you miss anything? Well Fat of The Land itself would be the obvious answer! After that it became a bit moire miss than hit for me but FOTL is well worth the price of admission. :0)

It's worthy of mention it is better than anything Prodigy have done for a while.

@philipnareike It sure does! Just looked thru the images on the website. They prompt lots of questions. The poverty's pretty unrelenting.
