@rherron Any Stereolab tracks would certainly meet with my approval. Was at All Tomorrow's Parties festival last weekend and they played French Disko in one of the bars.
@AndyWilkinson I'm not familiar with Stereolab at all and would have no idea where to start - suggestions welcomed!! The phrase "early stereolab" has been used among a few mates over the years to describe any leftfield music - my mate "Early Myles" has been known to scorn most indie bands as sellouts "I was more into their early stuff" he's to be heard saying......
@rherron there's loads to choose from (all great in my opinion) but tracks such as "French Disko", "Wow and Flutter", "Ping Pong" and "The Free Design" are all goodies. As for albums "Emperor Tomato Ketchup", "Mars Audiac Quintet" and "Dots and Loops" come highly recommended.

Love a bit of the Stranglers, particularly their early stuff.

This and Echo Beach were in my head all week,... might jam that next week. What about early Stereolab @AndyWilkinson?

This is great -- I'd never heard of them before.
