In January, rknLA joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Alpha Centauri” by At the Drive-In. Nice. In November, rknLA found it, their eternal jam: “I Built Myself a Metal Bird” by Thee Silver Mt. Zion. The year’s recurring themes? punk, noise rock, and post-punk. They were the first, and only, to post “Dancing Naked Ladies” by The Jesus Lizard. “Outside The Trains Don't Run On Time” by Gang of Four got a lot of love. rknLA passed 20 jams in December. “A.M. 180” by Grandaddy closed out the year.
