savetherobot’s first jam of 2014 was “Natural Ni Koishite” by Perfume, and 7 more jams followed. “Live With Me” by Ghost closed out the year.

savetherobot’s 2012 started strong with “Subdivisions” by Susanna and the Magical Orchestra, and there was more to come; 16 jams in all. Plenty of Scritti Politti, sophistipop, and post-punk. “Ode To Billie Joe” by Bobbie Gentry got a lot of love. savetherobot passed 20 jams in January. 2012 drew to a close with “Who Me” by KMD.

In September, savetherobot joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Crescent White Singe (No. 13)” by Mary Halvorson Quintet. Nice. There was a lot of new wave, avant garde, and electronic. savetherobot did some crate-digging too, and found “Tango?” by Conlon Nancarrow. savetherobot was first to pick “Lazy Line Painter Jane” by Belle and Sebastian, in December — 61 others followed suit! “Kindertotenlieder: No. 4. Oft denk' ich, sie sind nur ausgegangen” by Gustav Mahler (ft. Janet Baker) closed out the year.
